Bathroom refurbishment - fully sustainable

A private client contacted Upcircle to develop a fully sustainable bathroom. To fulfil the brief and at the same time to respect the budget, we have meticulously selected each of the items:

• The floor and wall tiles contain 40% recycled content. It is also rated Breeam A with ISO 14001 and ISO 9001 certified.

• The bespoke vanity unit is made from vintage mid-century furniture with an additional top in Smile plastic, which is a high resistant panel made of 100% recycled plastic produced in the UK.

• All the sanitary-ware items are from Roca: a brand that is known to be one of the most sustainable manufacturers in the sector. The products are made with a new ceramic technology that uses less energy during the manufacturing process than standard ceramics. Its high performance and minimal design facilitate the product’s maintenance.

• The paint selected is Graphenstone, which is the most advanced solution in the market for ecological and natural paints.

• All the lights are LED, and IP45 or IP60 produced in the UK.

• All the brass-ware is 15-years warranty, ensuring the durability of the project.
