OXFORD BLANKET: Recycled plastic

Weaver Green manufactures this Oxford Stripe Blanket. This blanket is made of 100 % of recycled plastic. The biggest challenge was perfecting the means to turn hard plastic into lovely open fibres that would provide all of the wool's softness and texture.
 
This blanket is hand-woven from up to 300 recycled plastic bottles; these gorgeous heavyweight blankets are soft, cosy and incredibly practical. Perfect for snuggling up anywhere, from the beach to the living room, they look and feel just like wool. The company also produced rugs, runner, cushion, throw and bags.
